You still don't get it do you? You all saw what happened when you race in an old style track, with actual gravel immediately outside the tarmac. Pilots make mistakes, and it's actually cool when they can actually recover from those and race again. You miss a breaking point here and you're on the wall, game over. Why going on with these tracks?

Russell was taking an impossible line on a narrow part of the track, and both paid for his inexperience and going off the track onto the grass and then into Bottas.
Sorry, is this just Formula E with longer straights now? Please, can we stop with street circuits that are desperately trying to fit the bill. Either have a proper purpose built track, or go for an old school street circuit layout where the awkward design creates fresh challenges. This lazy middle ground is so boring it could be anywhere
